Verapamil HCL

Were you looking for information about
Verapamil? Verapamil HCL is a common variation of verapamil.

Verapamil hydrochloride, a calcium channel blocker that is available by prescription, is commonly used to treat various conditions of the heart and blood vessels (such as chest pain, high blood pressure, and certain types of irregular heart rhythms). The medication works by relaxing the blood vessels to allow better blood flow and to make it easier for the heart to pump blood.

Verapamil is not suitable for everyone. A few of the conditions you should let your healthcare provider know about before taking the medication include liver disease, low blood pressure, and any allergies you may have. Common side effects of this product include dizziness, nausea, constipation, and headaches.
