Verapamil Dosage

Verapamil dosing will vary from patient to patient, depending on several factors, such as the particular form of verapamil being used, the medical condition being treated, other existing medical conditions, and other medications you are taking. The medication comes in the form of a tablet or capsule, and is typically taken one to four times a day (depending on the product being used). Verapamil should be taken at the same times each day to maintain an even level of the drug in your blood.

Verapamil Dosage: An Introduction

The dose of
 verapamil hydrochloride your healthcare provider recommends will vary depending on a number of factors, including:
 
  • The particular form of verapamil being used
  • The medical condition being treated
  • Other medical conditions you may have
  • Other medications you may currently be taking.
     
As is always the case, do not adjust your verapamil dose unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.
