Trandolapril

Trandolapril is a prescription drug that is licensed to control high blood pressure and improve survival and/or decrease the changes of developing congestive heart failure symptoms following a heart attack. By helping blood vessels relax, trandolapril increases the efficiency of the heart. In previous clinical studies, people taking trandolapril were able to decrease both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Trandolapril comes as a tablet usually taken once or twice a day, and is available in three strengths: 1 mg, 2 mg, and 4 mg.
