Is Generic Diltiazem as Good as Tiazac?

All generic medications must undergo certain tests to compare them to brand-name medications. An "AB" rating means that the FDA has determined that a generic medication is equivalent to a brand-name medication. Keep in mind that there are many versions of diltiazem that are equivalent to other products (such as Cardizem or Cardizem LA) but that are not equivalent to Tiazac.
