Ranexa Warnings and Precautions

Who Should Not Take Ranexa?

You should not take Ranexa if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Ranexa, ranolazine, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients. 
  • Have significant liver impairment.
  • Taking CYP 3A4 inducer medications or strong CYP 3A4 inhibitor medications (see Ranexa Drug Interactions).
