Ranexa 500 Mg

Ranexa® (ranolazine) is a prescription medicine used in the treatment of chronic angina (chest pain). This drug cannot help treat angina that has already started, but it is taken on a daily basis to help prevent angina attacks from occurring. Your dosage will depend on how you respond to the medication, other medications you are taking, and various other factors.
The recommended starting dosage for Ranexa is 500 mg twice daily, with about 12 hours between doses. Your healthcare provider may increase the amount up to a maximum of 1000 mg twice daily if necessary to control your angina symptoms.
