Ramipril Side Effects

While some people experience side effects while taking ramipril, these side effects are mostly minor and either require no treatment or can be treated easily by a healthcare provider. For people with high blood pressure, some common side effects of ramipril include headache, body weakness, and a cough. A few of the common ramipril side effects seen in people with congestive heart failure include vomiting, fainting, chest pain, and a spinning sensation (vertigo). There are also a number of rare side effects that occur in less than 1 percent of people taking this medicine, including hepatitis, arthritis, and indigestion.

 

Ramipril Side Effects: An Introduction

As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with
 ramipril (Altace®). Yet not everyone who takes ramipril will experience side effects. When side effects of ramipril do occur, they are generally minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by a healthcare professional.
