Dosing of Propafenone

The recommended dosing guidelines for propafenone (Rythmol®) will vary for each person, depending on how he or she responds to the medication and other existing medical conditions. Propafenone is prescribed to treat certain heart rhythm problems in adults.
 
This prescription medication comes as a tablet that is taken three times daily. The recommended starting dosage of propafenone is usually 150 mg every eight hours. However, this amount may be slowly increased, up to a maximum of 300 mg every eight hours.
