Final Thoughts on the Effectiveness of Plant Sterols

Plant sterols have been studied quite a bit. Most of these studies used plant sterols in food products and were designed to measure the effect of plant sterols on cholesterol. It is not really known for sure if plant sterols work for other conditions. Many of the other uses that are claimed for plant sterols have no scientific evidence in their favor.
