Drug Interactions With Omega-3-Acid Ethyl EstersMedications that "thin" the blood (known as anticoagulant and antiplatelet drugs) can potentially cause drug interactions with omega-3-acid ethyl esters. Some of these medicines include aspirin, warfarin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and heparin or heparin-like products. These drug interactions could increase the risk of bleeding, including dangerous internal bleeding.
