Nitrolingual Liquid
Healthcare providers recommend Nitrolingual® Pumpspray (nitroglycerin spray) to treat attacks of angina (chest pain). It can also be used 5 to 10 minutes before an activity that is expected to bring on an episode of chest pain.
Although Nitrolingual is a liquid, it comes in a spray bottle so that the medication can be administered onto or under the tongue. Do not rinse out your mouth or spit for at least 5 to 10 minutes after taking a dose. If your chest pain continues, you can take up to 3 more doses in 15 minutes. If the pain persists, seek immediate medical attention.
