Mexelitine
Were you looking for more information about Mexiletine? Mexelitine is a common misspelling of mexiletine.
A healthcare provider may prescribe mexiletine (Mexitil®) to treat certain irregular heart rhythms called ventricular arrhythmias. This medicine is approved for use in adults only and works by slowing down the electrical signals in the heart.
To help ensure a safe treatment, let your healthcare provider know about any other medical conditions you might have, such as a seizure disorder or a recent heart attack, as well as any other medications, vitamins, or supplements you are taking. Side effects may include tremors, lightheadedness, and gastrointestinal problems.
