Drug Interactions With Mexiletine

Taking mexiletine with lidocaine, fluvoxamine, or certain medications that affect liver enzymes could lead to potentially serious complications. Some of the drug interactions with mexiletine can decrease the effectiveness of the medications or increase your risk for side effects.
