A number of medicines may interact with vitamin C. Drug interactions may occur if vitamin C is taken together with protease inhibitors, estrogens, warfarin, and aluminum products. These vitamin C interactions can increase your risk of developing side effects or reduce the effectiveness of the medications, so be sure to talk to your healthcare provider before using any other drugs with the vitamin.
