What Is Nicardipine SR?Nicardipine SR (Cardene SR®) is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Nicardipine SR capsules are extended release, meaning they slowly release the medication over time.
Side Effects of Nicardipine SRAs with any medicine, there are possible side effects with nicardipine SR. However, not everyone who takes the medication will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. When nicardipine SR side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
