Heart Disease Home > CoQ10 Liquid Supplements

People supplement with coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) for a number of reasons, including the treatment of:
Although the body makes enough CoQ10 in most cases, some medical conditions seem to be linked to low levels of this substance, and these levels also seem to decline as people age. As a result, CoQ10 supplements may be necessary for people who have various medical conditions.
CoQ10 is sometimes claimed to be a "fountain of youth," and many people take it to maintain youthfulness. Although research suggests it may be beneficial for some conditions associated with aging, the supplement should not be expected to actually reverse the aging process.
Much more research is necessary before the safest and most effective dosage of CoQ10 can be determined. There is also some speculation that, when taking CoQ10, the form you use (such as a liquid, powder, or tablet) may have an influence on how easily the supplement is absorbed by the body.
