Final Thoughts

Fish oil seems like a promising natural (and inexpensive) treatment for RA, but more research is necessary to see how exactly it fits in with other treatments and how it should best be used. It may be an appropriate and effective treatment for some people. However, it is a good idea to discuss the benefits and risks of using fish oil to treat rheumatoid arthritis with your healthcare provider.
