Rythmol SR Drug Information

If you have an abnormal heart rhythm called atrial fibrillation, your healthcare provider may prescribe a medication called Rythmol SR® (propafenone SR). It is approved to prolong the time between symptoms in adults who have this particular heart condition.
 
Available as an extended-release capsule, this medicine is taken twice daily, with about 12 hours between doses. Your specific dosage will depend on how you respond to the medication, other medical conditions you have, and various other factors. Some of the potential side effects include dizziness, nausea, and tiredness.
