Propranolol Hydrochloride

As a beta blocker medication, propranolol hydrochloride (Inderal®) is licensed for several uses, including:
 
Propranolol comes in tablet and oral solution (liquid) form. In addition, an injectable form is available for use in treating irregular heart rhythms, usually in emergency situations.
 
Based on what your healthcare provider recommends, the medication is taken two to four times a day, at the same times each day.
