Prinivil® (lisinopril) is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor licensed for a number of uses, including:
- Controlling high blood pressure (hypertension)
- Relieving symptoms of congestive heart failure
- Improving survival following a heart attack.
The medication comes in the form of a tablet and is typically taken once a day. When used for high blood pressure, Prinivil can be taken by children as young as six years old.
