plant sterols, which can help to
lower cholesterol. It primarily does this by blocking the absorption of
cholesterol from the intestine. This product is sold as tablets and is meant to be taken with a meal or a snack.
The standard dosage for this multivitamin is one tablet taken twice daily. Because Centrum Cardio functions as a multivitamin, as well as a cholesterol-lowering supplement, it is generally not recommended to take another multivitamin in addition to Centrum Cardio.
