One of the most common uses of garlic is for heart health. However, it supposedly has several other health benefits as well, such as lowering blood pressure, preventing blood clots, and preventing certain cancers. Even though garlic is "natural," it is not suitable for everyone. People who have a bleeding disorder, ulcers, GERD, or an upcoming surgery should talk to their healthcare provider before consuming a large amount of garlic.
