Drug Interactions With Flecainide

Combining flecainide with carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, antacids that contain sodium bicarbonate, or certain other medications could lead to complications. In some cases, drug interactions such as these can increase flecainide blood levels, potentially causing serious side effects or heart rhythm problems. Do not start treatment with flecainide without first talking to your healthcare provider about all medications, vitamins, and supplements you are taking.
