Felodipine has not been adequately studied for treating high blood pressure in children and is not approved for this age group. Be sure to talk to your child's healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using felodipine in children.
Off-Label Felodipine Uses
On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend felodipine for treating something other than the conditions listed above. This is called an "off-label" use. At this time, felodipine is sometimes used off-label to treat chest pain (angina).
