Cumaden
Were you looking for information about Coumadin? Cumaden is a common misspelling of Coumadin.
Coumadin® (warfarin sodium) is a prescription anticoagulant used to prevent and treat blood clots. Blood clotting is a complex process that involves many different substances in the body known as clotting factors. Coumadin works to inhibit blood clotting by decreasing the formation of certain active clotting factors. This medication can cause a number of potentially dangerous side effects (including internal bleeding), so your healthcare provider will need to monitor you on a regular basis to make sure you are responding well to the drug.
