Coronary Artery Disease? Coranary artery disease is a common misspelling of coronary artery disease.

Coronary artery disease occurs when the arteries that take blood to the heart harden and become narrow. This narrowing (also known as atherosclerosis) diminishes blood flow to the heart muscle, and can cause a heart attack as a result. Also known as coronary heart disease or simply heart disease, coronary artery disease is the number-one killer of both women and men in the United States. Risk factors for the condition include having diabetes, smoking, having hypertension, and being physically inactive.
