However, some studies have not shown any benefit of CoQ10 for Parkinson's disease. More information is needed before CoQ10 can be recommended as a treatment for this condition.

Studies suggest that taking CoQ10 daily may help prevent migraine headaches in adults and children. However, CoQ10 does not seem to lessen the severity or duration of migraine headaches. More research is necessary before CoQ10 is recommended for this use.

Early research seems to suggest that CoQ10 may be useful for men who have infertility problems due to poor sperm motility. Taking CoQ10 for at least six months may improve sperm motility.

CoQ10 levels decline as people age. In some bacteria, CoQ10 supplementation may prolong lifespan, but this is not true in rodents. It is not known if CoQ10 supplementation has any effect on lifespan in humans.
CoQ10 is sometimes claimed to be a miracle cure-all and fountain of youth. While research suggests that CoQ10 may be beneficial for some conditions associated with aging, it should not be expected to slow down or reverse the aging process.
