Who Should Not Take Choline Fenofibrate?

You should not take choline fenofibrate if you:
 
  • Are allergic to it, Trilipix, fenofibrate, or any of the inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Have severe kidney disease.
     
  • Have active liver disease or unexplained high liver enzymes.
     
  • Have gallbladder disease.
     
  • Are breastfeeding (see Trilipix and Breastfeeding).
