Choline Fenofibrate Side Effects

Common Side Effects

Choline fenofibrate has been studied thoroughly in clinical trials. In these studies, side effects were documented and compared to those that occurred in a similar group of people taking other cholesterol medications.
 
Based on these studies, the most common choline fenofibrate side effects included:
 
  • Headaches -- in up to 12 percent of people
  • Back pain -- up to 6.3 percent
  • Upper respiratory tract infection (such as the common cold) -- up to 5.3 percent
  • Arm or leg pain -- up to 4.5 percent
  • Nausea -- up to 4.3 percent
  • Dizziness -- up to 4.1 percent.
