Centrum Cardio Drug Interactions

Before taking any medications, make sure to talk to your healthcare provider and let him or her know if you are taking Centrum Cardio. Drug interactions may occur if Centrum Cardio is taken with certain medications, such as bisphosphonate medicines, some antibiotics, and thyroid medications. If your healthcare provider recommends taking any of these medications with Centrum Cardio, you may need to take your doses at different times.

 

An Overview of Centrum Cardio Interactions

 Centrum Cardio® vitamins can potentially interact with a few other medications. Before taking any other medication, make sure to let your pharmacist or healthcare provider know if you are taking Centrum Cardio, as it is available without a prescription and they may not be aware you're taking it. Some of the medicines that may lead to Centrum Cardio drug interactions include:
 
  • Bisphosphonate medications, such as:

 

 

  • Fluoroquinolone ("quinolone") antibiotics, such as:

 

 

 

 

  • Thyroid medications (used to treat an underactive thyroid, also known as hypothyroidism), including:
