Cartia XT Drug Interactions

Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about all other medicines you are taking before starting Cartia XT. Drug interactions could occur, which could increase your risk for side effects or reduce the effectiveness of the drugs. Some of the medicines that may lead to negative Cartia XT drug interactions include cyclosporine, lovastatin, quinidine, and certain benzodiazepines.
