Who Should Not Take Cardene?

You should not take Cardene if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Cardene, nicardipine hydrochloride, or any of the inactive components used to make Cardene. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients used to make Cardene.
     
  • Have aortic stenosis, a condition that may be worsened by Cardene.
