Brilinta? Brillinta is a common misspelling of Brilinta.
Available in the form of a tablet, Brilinta™ (ticagrelor) is a prescription medication used to prevent harmful blood clots from forming in people who have been hospitalized with chest pain or have had a certain type of heart attack. This drug is also used after an angioplasty to help prevent blood clots from forming in the stent. Brilinta is not meant to be used on its own -- it is taken in combination with aspirin.
