Equipment Failure During Angioplasty

Another complication of
angioplasty relates to the failure of mechanical medical equipment. Medical equipment is regularly tested and meets strict U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards. Medical equipment problems are extremely rare. However, manmade products can fail or malfunction. If complications from equipment failure occur, they are usually minor. In most cases, they can be treated without difficulty by your doctor.
