Precautions to Be Aware of After Angioplasty
You will need to avoid physical exertion or strenuous activity for one to two weeks after balloon
angioplasty.
If a stent is inserted, you will be given an identification card with information. Keep this card with you at all times. The stent is made of metal, so for the first few months after angioplasty with stent placement, you should not have any MRI scans.
